I have been a drag racer since my first pass in 1975. Through the years I’ve raced about everything including 18 years racing drag bikes. From 2003 to 2010 I owned and raced a Top Sportsman car. The last race of 2010 we had an unfortunate wreck that totaled the car. I decided to go a different direction for 2011 and build a new dragster. I did extensive research as this would be my first experience driving a dragster. I talked to many dragster builders when I finally came across John Parkes at Chrome-Worx. After a short interview I knew immediately this was my builder. Not only did John build me a multiple award winning Top Dragster including a 2012 World of Wheels award and a NHRA Divsion-3 Best appearing car, John with the help of American Race Cars designed and built me an incredible Chrome-Worx Ultracars Dragster. I would challenge anyone to find one imperfection on this car. John designed the paint scheme, did all the hydro-dipping, chrome plating, wiring, and delivered a completely assembled turn-key Dragster race ready as promised. The car was done exactly when John promised it would be and the sale didn’t stop there.  Since the sale John has been there for all my questions any time I needed them which is monumental. 6.65 @ 205 mph ¼ mile passes that are straight and effortless sure are fun! I have driven many different brand name dragsters. As most racers know, they all build good cars. I went with John Parkes at Chrome-Worx Ultracars for several reasons. First off he builds his cars using American Race Cars chassis. I have had 2 prior American Race Cars and both were flawless on the race track. This time around we decided to build a dragster with a lot of extras and special add-ons. John's attention to detail is beyond anything I have ever seen before in a dragster. He was great to work with from day 1 on designing this car. I had him on a tight deadline and he went above and beyond to make it happen.
